I'm a Dutch creative with a main focus on branding & advertising. Apart from this, my work consists of a combination of graphic design, photography, film, illustration and product design blended with a strong sense of human truth. Understanding key motives of human behaviour therefore strongly leads me to new insights and design solutions.
Within my work proces, I often get inspired by the things I miss or dislike in previous adverts and other forms of communication. I personally believe that reframing the brief in this way provides a fresh and creative way of thinking thus will prevent copy & pasting stories that have already been told.
Although I strive to use my work for important causes and serious issues, I also believe that humour still is a great way to empathise. Humour can make people laugh about complicated things, about struggles and about issues; which is something I highly value within a world where we are constantly confronted with problems.
